Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

ARAM (“ARAM”, “we”, “us”) is a business-management app for India’s service providers — milkmen, gyms, car washers, and tutors — and their customers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who this policy covers

ARAM has two kinds of users: providers, who run a business on the app, and consumers, who receive a service and view their bills. This policy applies to both, and to visitors of aramapp.in.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use your information

4. Consent and your control

We process personal data on the basis of your consent and to deliver the service you request. You can withdraw permissions (such as location) at any time through your device settings, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

5. Data providers enter about their customers

When a provider records customer details, the provider is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for informing their customers. ARAM acts as a processor of that information on the provider’s behalf and uses it only to deliver the service.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

UPI payments happen directly between the customer and the provider through their respective payment apps. ARAM is not a party to the transaction and does not collect or hold your money.

7. Storage and security

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. ARAM is local-first: your entries are saved on your device and synced to the cloud when you are online. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

10. Children

ARAM is intended for business owners and their customers and is not directed at children under 18. Where a tutor records information about a minor student, the tutor is responsible for obtaining parental consent.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, communicated in the app.

12. Contact
